Joining Bethel Lutheran Church

There are many reasons you may want to make Bethel your home church – and we’re happy for all those reasons! The church is wonderful place to become a part of and there are many opportunities to do so.

The Joining Process

The joining process is rather simple – once you have chosen to become a member, you’ll attend a new member orientation class led by Pastor Ray and Kim Miller. This is a very informative class held on Saturday mornings for about an hour to two hours. The class will inform you of the church history, the ministry leaders and provide you with a Time & Talents overview and inventory where we will assess together how you can become involved in the current church activities.

Thinking About Joining?

Not quite ready to join, but need more information? Please be sure to join us at the visitor receptions held at Pastor Ray’s home. These are informal gatherings with all our recent visitors, as well as church office staff, church council and other members and friends of the church. Check the Narthex bulletin boards or the calendar for our next reception.

Ways to be Involved

There are many ways to be involved in member activities – you can be a participant, a volunteer or be a leader – the church needs all three! We have a variety of ways for people to be involved, everything from Sunday morning ushers and communion assistants, to Sunday School leaders and food pantry helpers.
